A new expert-analytical and project platform — International Research Hub — has commenced operations in Kazakhstan, focused on supporting the state, business and civil society amid the transformation of regulation and growing requirements in the areas of human rights, ESG and sustainable development.
International Research Hub operates at the intersection of research, law, regulation and public interest, providing evidence-based and practice-oriented solutions. The Foundation's work is aimed at implementing international standards, improving the quality of law-making and law enforcement, and reducing legal, reputational and regulatory risks.
The Foundation's key areas of work include applied legal and interdisciplinary research, regulatory and compliance expertise, support for law-making and GR initiatives, the implementation of national and international projects, as well as educational and capacity-building programmes for government bodies, the judiciary, business, NGOs and the expert community.
A particular focus of International Research Hub relates to the development of scientific research, the monitoring and assessment of regulatory impact, and the adaptation of international best practices to the national context. The Foundation is also building a platform for expert collaboration and for engaging young people in research and analytical projects.
The mission of International Research Hub is to foster a culture of human rights, responsible governance and sustainable development, and to establish a sustainable dialogue between the state, business and civil society.
The Foundation is open to cooperation with government bodies, international organizations, educational institutions, the non-governmental sector and private companies.
